Neither Rockstar nor FNAC has commented on the listings. They were removed without explanation before pre-orders officially opened. The RS1, RS4, RS5 labeling implies at minimum that whoever created these listings expected three distinct products to exist.

They were wrong about the number of editions actually confirmed on that date, since only two appeared.

Whether DetectiveSeeds had real information about a third edition that Rockstar decided not to announce, or was partially wrong about the launch lineup, cannot be determined from outside. The FNAC Portugal listing is the more credible piece of evidence precisely because it came from an established retailer rather than an anonymous social media account.

What Fake Listings Are Actually Circulating

Could a Collector’s Edition Still Be Announced?

With GTA 6 launching November 19 and still over three months away as of this writing, the timeline for a separate announcement hasn’t technically closed.

What would need to happen for a physical Collector’s Edition to ship by November 19 is more compressed than the GTA 5 timeline allowed. Physical goods require manufacturing lead time, and with November being the target, an announcement would need to come within the next few weeks to allow production and distribution in time for launch. That’s tight but not impossible.

A digital-only collector’s tier, something like an even higher-priced edition with additional in-game content above the Ultimate Edition, faces no such manufacturing constraint and could theoretically be announced much closer to launch.
