GTA 6 Pisswasser beer

GTA 6 Pißwasser Beer Is Real: Florida Brewery Tie-Up

The GTA 6 Pisswasser beer might actually be real. Label approvals for three GTA-themed beers, including the series’ most famous fictional pilsner, have turned up in a US federal database, and all three are tied to a Florida craft brewery. It’s a fitting piece of marketing for a game set in a fictionalized Florida.

The caveat is that neither Rockstar nor the brewery has announced anything. What we have is paperwork, which is strong evidence but not a launch. Here’s what’s in the filings, what’s still unknown, and why this tie-in fits Rockstar’s current campaign.

The short version

How many beers?Three
Has Rockstar announced it?No
Release date and price?Not announced
Where would you find it?Probably Miami-area bars and shops

Meet the three beers

GTAVice.net first spotted the labels in the public database of the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, which approves beer labels before they can be sold. PC Gamer’s report and several other outlets have since covered it.

BeerStrengthNotes
Pißwasser4.2% ABVA pilsner, and a long-running GTA brand. Label approval dated September 29, 2026
Patriot4.2% ABVAnother series staple. Label approval dated October 15, 2026
No Mames Vice City6% ABVA new Vice City lager, apparently a spin on the brewery’s existing No Mames beer, with a sunglasses-wearing dog on the label

The labels reportedly carry GTA VI branding, which is the strongest sign that this is a Rockstar-linked product and not an unrelated brewery’s joke.

Why it makes sense

GTA’s fake brands are famous in their own right. Pißwasser and Patriot have appeared in several earlier games, and a Patriot six-pack has been reported in a GTA 6 trailer. Turning them into real drinks is an obvious next step for a series that parodies consumer culture.

It also fits the city-wide push we’ve covered in our report on the GTA 6 Miami takeover. Rockstar has covered Miami in Vice City branding, from rooftop signs to wrapped cars, and a Miami-area brewery makes local sense. We’ve also looked at the theory that all of this might lead to a filmed promo in our piece on the GTA 6 live-action trailer rumor.

What’s confirmed and what isn’t

PC Gamer’s view is that the beers are all but certainly real, given the filings and Rockstar’s wider campaign. That’s a reasonable reading. It’s still an inference, so we’re treating the launch itself as unconfirmed.

What a federal label approval does and doesn’t mean

In the US, beer labels generally go through the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau before a product is sold across state lines, and approvals are searchable in a public database. That’s why this leak was findable at all. An approval is a regulatory step, though, not a retail launch. A label can be cleared weeks or months before cans ship, and companies sometimes get approval for products they never release. That’s the reason we say “very likely” and not “confirmed.”

The timing is the interesting part. Pißwasser was approved on September 29 and Patriot on October 15, which puts both well ahead of the November 19 launch and suggests a product that’s been planned for a while.

What a real release would add to the campaign

A drinkable Pißwasser would give Rockstar something no trailer can: a physical object fans can hold, photograph and share. That’s a marketing win in itself, and it plays to the series’ sense of humor. It would also keep the Miami push moving after the Heat’s “A Night in Vice City” game on November 18, since local events are a natural home for it. That’s our read, not an announced plan.

Where could you actually drink it?

The brewery mostly serves South Florida. PC Gamer notes that the brewery’s website lists its beers as available only in and around Miami, and another outlet says it sometimes ships to other states through distributors, so reports differ. If the GTA beers follow the usual pattern, the likeliest places are:

  • Bars and restaurants in and around Miami
  • The brewery’s taproom in Doral
  • Local stores that already carry Tripping Animals

Whether cans will be sold online, or only at events, is unknown. Some commentary suggests in-person events fit the Miami campaign best, but that’s a guess.

Pißwasser, Pisswasser, Piss Water: what’s the name?

People spell it all sorts of ways, so here’s the quick guide:

  • Pißwasser: the stylized in-game spelling, using the German letter ß.
  • Pisswasser: the plain-text version most fans type, and what you’ll find in most search results.
  • Piss Water or Pisswasser beer: informal versions used in jokes and social posts.
  • Patriot: a separate brand with the same ABV.
  • No Mames Vice City: the new one, and not a returning brand.

Any of these spellings should find the same story.

A few fun details

  • The two classic beers both come in at 4.2% ABV, which is typical for a light lager and fits the joke behind the name.
  • The new Vice City lager is stronger, at 6%.
  • Tripping Animals is a well-regarded craft brewery in the Florida scene, according to coverage, so this isn’t a novelty brand.
  • The labels show up in a government database, which is probably the most unusual way a GTA promotion has ever leaked.

A word of caution

Buying anything related to a hyped game invites scams. If these beers go on sale, only trust announcements from Rockstar, the brewery or established retailers. Offers for shipped cans, “pre-order” pages and resale listings from unknown sellers should be treated carefully. Alcohol sales are also restricted by age and by state shipping laws, so expect to be 21 or older in the US. Our guide on how to spot fake sites around GTA 6 covers the general warning signs.

Please drink responsibly if you do track one down.

What to watch next

Keep an eye on the brewery’s social accounts, Rockstar’s channels and local Miami news. An announcement, a tasting event or a launch party in the weeks before November 19 would be the most likely confirmation. Our launch trailer breakdown is a good place to spot other in-game brands you might see turn real.

The bottom line

The GTA 6 Pisswasser beer looks real. Three label approvals, a Florida brewery and GTA VI branding point to a Rockstar tie-in, even though nobody has announced a date, price or place to buy it. We’ll update this page when Rockstar or Tripping Animals confirms anything.
